Wow!
It has been a while since I have written a blog post but a lot has changed - most importantly (although I still love Hancock Park and Los Angeles in General) I have moved to the beach!!
All those Beach Boys songs about Surfin Safari's, California Girls and Good Vibrations make sense to me now that I live in Hermosa Beach! It is a totally different vibe from the big city and real estate out here has a different vibe as well. I must say - I've been on a Real Estate Safari out here and it's fantastic.
Now remember all of this is just my own personal opinion but I dare say that I think I'm pretty accurate in suggesting that you couldn't possibly make a better investment than buying a property in the South Bay. Not only is it beautiful down here, the people are great, there is a real community spirit, the schools are fantastic - but it is also a place where property value will always either grow or minimum remain the same. There is more demand for property here than there is inventory and that is saying something!
I always encourage my clients who are looking for a "bargain" or a "good deal" to find a house or condo that they love, on a street that they love, in a neighborhood that they love - now that is a GREAT deal! Pair that with buying in an area where your property will 9 times out of 10 maintain it's value (but most likely grow in value) ANDDD is in a location where, should you ever want / need to sell, there will be demand for that property.
Wow! I told you - real estate out here is as exciting as it is fun.
Now listen, I really want to keep educating you on my real estate adventures down here in the South Bay but the sun is shining and I think I'm going to wrap up my day and enjoy some rays!
